The Program Encourages Nonprofit Groups to Staff Precincts on Election Days. The county’s Adopt-A-Precinct program encourages nonprofit groups to staff precincts on primary and general election days, and donate their wages to charity. Groups can earn up to $2,200 per election.“They did an awesome job,” Election Supervisor Bill Keen said of the Villagers who took part. “They’re already gearing up to do it again in the general (election). And we have a couple of locations that we’re having trouble staffing, so we may end up putting another (club) in place and get them going.
